Pesto

What you will need:

2 cups of fresh basil leaves

½ cup grated parmesan

2 small cloves of garlic

½ tsp of salt

½ tsp of pepper

½ cup of extra virgin olive oil

 

 Instructions:

  1. 1. Combine first five ingredients in a food processor and pulse until it forms the consistency of the grated parmesan.
  2. 2. Slowly add the olive oil while the food processor is on and it will form a nice thick sauce.

 

Tip: Be sure to rinse the basil leaves well or your pesto might taste a bit gritty!
