We’ve all been afraid of falling victim to cellulite at one point or another. What exactly is it and how can we fight against or prevent it?
Cellulite is simply fat deposits which have accumulated underneath your skin to cause a dimple effect. Generally cellulite occurs in the abdominal, butt or leg areas and make us feel very self conscious about ourselves. Cellulite can be caused by many different factors including hormones, genetics, diet and lifestyle. The ones we can control of course are diet and lifestyle. The best way to help fight and prevent cellulite is by eating a clean diet low on bad fats and carbohydrates and high on fiber.
In the lifestyle department, sticking to a balanced workout plan will work wonders. The focus needs to be on both cardiovascular and strength training. Cardio training will help burn fat while you’re working out and strength training leads to lean muscle which helps burn more fat 24/7!
